Construction begins on new Halifax Medical Centre

Construction of the new Boulevard Health Centre at the former Holy Trinity School on Savile Park Road commenced this August, with completion Summer 2011.The existing Heath House Surgery on Free School Lane will be relocated in the brand new centre which, when it opens, will provide modern healthcare facilities for the local community.

The project, which is being developed by MedicX, a leading provider of innovative premises solutions for the primary care market, comprises the refurbishment and extension of the Grade II listed building. The new health centre will incorporate a pharmacy, nine consulting rooms, three treatment rooms and a health education room as well as an extended range of healthcare services.
