Community

Every community is different,
every patient group is unique

We consult widely on the projects we undertake, canvassing opinions and involving the local community in the plans and the designs we prepare. We also work hard to keep communities informed with building progress.

Examples of our commitment to community communication are the newsletters and websites we produce for our projects in partnership with local schools, colleges and community groups. We involve local people in the detail of the project. This helps create a strong identity and sense of place, which becomes a central part of the community. Whether it’s the inclusion of artwork designed by a local patient group for incorporation on the building, the naming of the new centre by the local primary school or a time capsule buried with items suggested by the local residents, we encourage community engagement at all stages of the project process.
