Churchside Medical Centre
Dr Ward and Partners were operating in an overcrowded and unsuitable Health Centre. They asked MedicX to develop new premises for them. MedicX negotiated the acquisition of a vacant textile warehouse in Mansfield town centre, close to the existing Medical Centre. Working closely with the architects, the primary care trust, the doctors and the local community, they developed a new building that suited everyone’s needs, and their own identity.

The Hedges Medical Practice
MedicX was approached by Leicester Health Authority to solve the problem of an overcrowded existing health centre. Not only did they want a brand new medical facility with room to spare, they also wanted it to be as close as possible to the existing practice location. No obvious sites were available – however a garage and petrol filling station across the road was an ideal but not immediately obvious location.
